Based on the medium handled, submersible pumps can generally be categorized into three types: clear-water submersible pumps, sewage submersible pumps, and seawater submersible pumps (designed for corrosive environments).

The QJ series submersible pump is a water-lifting unit in which the motor and pump are directly coupled and operate while submerged. It is suitable for extracting groundwater from deep wells and can also be used for water-lifting projects involving rivers, reservoirs, and canals. It is primarily used for agricultural irrigation and for supplying water to people and livestock in high-altitude or mountainous areas; it also serves water supply and drainage needs for cities, factories, railways, mines, and construction sites.
